Close Up Monday

Here are some close ups from my garden/yard. It's so much fun to break out the macro lens and go to town. Hope you enjoy this very large post! :)

Phlox in Bloom.

Wild Strawberries...they look cute, but they take over. Boo Hiss.

My super cool dog Frank.

Garden Walk

I was recently asked to photograph one of the gardens that was featured on the Monroe Meyer Institute Garden Walk held back in June. It was such a pleasure. The owner of this garden has created this magical space--she has such an eye for detail and it shows in all the special touches throughout the garden. The evening of the photo session, I was eaten alive by mosquitoes (I hear they make bug spray; maybe I should buy some); so enjoy the scenery from the comfort of your air conditioned, non-buggy home.

Cute x 2

These are my friends David and Andrew. Their Mom and I have been friends for about forever and whenever they come to town, I can't wait to a) catch up with Mom and b) take pictures of these two cuties. They both are so stinkin cute and really love mugging for the camera. Andrew really does love his big brother, and David is THE perfect big brother. He also has a wicked smile. And Andrew has a really cool growl that is as much fun to hear as it is to photograph! It was so much fun running around with these two...hope you enjoy the photos.

Fields, Flowers, Lucy and Where's Sophie?

Gina, the girls and I stopped for a quick photo session a few weeks back. Lucy was all for it, Miss Sophie was not. So here are a few pics of Lucy and one sorta one of Sophie!

Bottle Me Up Some of His Energy

Meet Augustine. He is a doll, cute as a button, sweet, happy and FULL OF ENERGY. All of his pictures were taken on the go! I enjoyed hanging out with Abi and Andy and we had so much fun smiling and laughing at all of Augustine's cute antics. Enjoy!

He was having too much fun with the bear and the wagon.

Eventually he decided it was just easier to carry the wagon!

It got easier when he was on the sidewalk.

I love this picture! He is giving his Mom a bear hug and making her laugh. So sweet!

 Augustine and his Dad!

Still playing with the wagon.
Beautiful Family!
